Total $115.00 per horse

Individual Private Lesson Fee = $85.00

Facility charge = $30.00

 Our clients use some or all of our facility when visiting for lessons - bedded stall, wash stalls, grazing areas, parking, trails, indoor and outdoor arenas, client lounge areas etc. So the addition of what is commonly called a ‘ring fee’ seemed appropriate given the overall costs of maintaining the facility.

Clinics

Host Head Trainer Maddie Piplico at your facility

Half Day Fee = $500.00 for 1 - 4 participants

Full day fee = $1100.00 for 5 - 8 participants

For a Full day clinic at your facility there is a maximum 8 riders

• Individual lessons - no group lessons

• Afton Stables will invoice the host of the event, not the individual participants. A check for the full amount should be made payable to Afton Stables LLC.

• Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be given if the entire event is canceled by the clinician or host (inclement weather, etc). No partial refunds for participant no-shows.

*Mileage charge may apply if over 20 miles one way

Coaching by Maddie Piplico at shows

Coaching = $100.00 per session

Boarding at Afton Stables

Board is $2500.00 per month

Stall Board: includes matted stall & shavings; small group turnout; stall cleaning; grain and hay feeding; night check (if needed); blanketing/fly mask; Automatic stall waterers; basic laundry service for saddle pads, boots and wraps; general daily health check and feet picking. Full details of all services provided will be detailed in our boarding contract.

Does not include training program.

Retirees welcome.

Dressage Training Program

Training program starts at $1200.00 per month

Any combination of horse and rider will vary in ability and experience. We will design a program specifically for you and your horse to best address your individual needs - from owner/riders working to move up the levels; to owner/investors wishing to have a professional rider train and show their horse.

Once we understand you and your horse we can better determine how to help you achieve your goals which is why it is impossible to make one price suit all clients. 

We try to provide you with a realistic expectation of what the costs involved are. Any prices quoted that are not on your specific boarding and training contract are for information purposes only.

Rehabilitation board and retirement board are priced according to the needs of the horse.

Leasing or Purchasing

We can advise and help you source appropriate lease or sale horses.

Secure Trailer Storage

We have limited availability for 24 hour secure, covered trailer storage to provide the best protection against Virginia’s winter weather.

Rate is $150.00 per month.
